چکیده
Fatty acids and fatty alcohols have the advantages of high latent heat phase change, good thermal stability, no corrosion, supercooling separation. They can be used as change energy storage materials for passive temperature control. However, their popularization application are limited because transition narrow range. This study develops a novel binary composite (PCMs) Capric acid (CA) Octadecanol (OD) by melt blending method. The theoretical calculation hot melt-step cooling were carried out to generate an optimal molar ratio, followed DSC characterization. ATR-FTIR XRD performed determine transformation chemical structure changes. results showed CA-OD PCMs has fusion, melting Tm = 26.48 °C △H 181.06 J/g at mass ratio 85.15:14.86 (CA:OD), which is higher than theoretically predicted transition, indicating synergistic effect beneficial storage. Solid CA exists in form dimer –OH solid OD association, intermolecular hydrogen bonds weakens liquid. There PCMs, molecular changes before after similar that single component or OD. crystal structures two compounds also improved. Finally, through TG low cycle test, demonstrates stability practicability field building conservation.

متن کاملThermal Transport in Phase Change Memory Materials
Phase change memory uses brief pulses of electrical current to induce phase transitions in chalcogenide material regions with dimensions near or even far below 50 nm. The strongly differing electrical conductivities of the crystalline and amorphous phases allow data storage at densities in excess of terabits per square inch. Nanoscale conduction heat transfer governs the figures of merit in the...

The thermal response characteristic of a hybrid cooler that is charged with a “dry” solid-solid phase change compound is evaluated. A mathematical model that simulates the performance of a cooler/heat storage unit is formulated. A prototype heat sink that incorporates heat storage using a “dry” PCM is tested, and used to benchmark the simulation model. Different heating and cooling strategies a...
